藉着启示使我可以知道这奥秘，就像我以前在信中略略提过的。你们读了，就可以知道我深深地明白基督的奥秘。这奥秘在以前的世代并没有让世人知道，不像现在藉着圣灵启示了圣使徒和先知那样。这奥秘就是外族人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音可以同作后嗣，同为一体，同蒙应许。我作了福音的仆役，是照着神的恩赐（“恩赐”或译：“恩赏”）；这恩赐是按着他大能的作为赐给我的。我本来比圣徒中最小的还小，神还是赐给我这恩典，要我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外族人，并且使众人明白那奥秘的救世计划是什么（这奥秘是历代以来隐藏在创造万有的神里面的），

神能依照我所传的福音和耶稣基督所传的信息，照着他奥秘的启示，坚定你们。这奥秘自古以来秘而不宣，

如果主耶和华不先把计划向他的仆人众先知显示，他就不会作任何事。

主对他们说：“这就是我从前与你们同在的时候，对你们说过的话：摩西的律法、先知书和诗篇上所记关于我的一切事，都必定应验。”于是他开他们的心窍，使他们明白圣经；又说：“经上这样记着：基督必须受害，第三天从死人中复活。人要奉他的名，传讲悔改与赦罪的道，从耶路撒冷起，直传到万国。

他必留在天上，直到万物复兴的时候，就是神自古藉着圣先知的口所说的。

第七位天使吹号，天上就有大声音说：“世上的国成了我们的主和他所立的基督的国，他要作王，直到永永远远！”那在神面前，坐在自己座位上的二十四位长老，都面伏在地上敬拜神，说：“主啊！全能的神，昔在今在的，我们感谢你！因为你执掌了大权，作王了！列国忿怒了！你的震怒也临到了！时候已经到了！死人要受审判！你的众仆人、先知、圣徒，和所有老幼贵贱、敬畏你名的人，都要得赏赐！你也要毁灭那些败坏全地的人！”

弟兄们，我不愿意你们对这奥秘一无所知，免得你们自以为聪明。这奥秘就是以色列人当中有一部分是硬心的，直到外族人的全数满了；
