The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the sky,

Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river. He raised both his hands toward heaven and swore by Him who lives eternally that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people is shattered, all these things will be completed.

I raise My hand to heaven and declare: As surely as I live forever,

For the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and everything in them in six days; then He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and declared it holy.

Our Lord and God, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because You have created all things, and because of Your will they exist and were created.

For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.The depths of the earth are in His hand, and the mountain peaks are His.The sea is His; He made it. His hands formed the dry land.Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

and the Living One. I was dead, but look— I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

He spoke with a loud voice:“ Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come. Worship the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Then the seventh poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying,“ It is done!”

“ Men! Why are you doing these things? We are men also, with the same nature as you, and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever,

You alone are Yahweh. You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them, and the heavenly host worships You.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself:

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights.Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts.Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars.Praise Him, highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens.Let them praise the name of Yahweh, for He commanded, and they were created.He set them in position forever and ever; He gave an order that will never pass away.Praise the Lord from the earth, all sea monsters and ocean depths,

Say to them: This is what the Lord God says: On the day I chose Israel, I swore an oath to the descendants of Jacob’s house and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt. I swore to them, saying: I am Yahweh your God.

For as I was passing through and observing the objects of your worship, I even found an altar on which was inscribed: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you.

Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heavenand said,“ By Myself I have sworn,” this is the Lord’s declaration:“ Because you have done this thing and have not withheld your only son,

Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

For His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse.

I will bring you to the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession. I am Yahweh.”

However, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land I had given them— the most beautiful of all lands, flowing with milk and honey—

When I brought them into the land that I swore to give them and they saw any high hill or leafy tree, they offered their sacrifices and presented their offensive offerings there. They also sent up their pleasing aromas and poured out their drink offerings there.

You will inherit it in equal portions, since I swore to give it to your ancestors. So this land will fall to you as an inheritance.

When I lead you into the land of Israel, the land I swore to give your fathers, you will know that I am Yahweh.

Therefore this is what the Lord God says: I swear that the nations all around you will endure their own insults.

But Yahweh is the true God; He is the living God and eternal King. The earth quakes at His wrath, and the nations cannot endure His rage.You are to say this to them,“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”He made the earth by His power, established the world by His wisdom, and spread out the heavens by His understanding.When He thunders, the waters in the heavens are in turmoil, and He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain and brings the wind from His storehouses.

However, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would disperse them among the nations and scatter them among the countries.
