He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

Then the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard again speaking with me, and saying,“ Go, take the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”And I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little scroll. And he* said to me,“ Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.

By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and the farthest sea;

Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder,“ Come!”

I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals.And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice,“ Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?”And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it.Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.And one of the elders* said to me,“ Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to be able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying,“ Come!”

Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession.

So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the Lord drives.

which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and made Him head over all things to the church,

By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice.By me princes rule, and nobles, All who judge rightly.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
