I, John, your brother and fellow participant in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

I, John, am a believer like you. I am a friend who suffers like you. As members of Jesus’ royal family, we can put up with anything that happens to us. I was on the island of Patmos because I taught God’s word and what Jesus said.

I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

I, John, am your brother and your partner in suffering and in God’s Kingdom and in the patient endurance to which Jesus calls us. I was exiled to the island of Patmos for preaching the word of God and for my testimony about Jesus.

strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying,“ It is through many tribulations that we must enter the kingdom of God.”

These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw.

Because you have kept My word of perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of the testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who live on the earth.

Nevertheless, you have done well to share with me in my difficulty.

But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,

For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;

I said to him,“ My lord, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.

For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

‘ I know your tribulation and your poverty( but you are rich), and the slander by those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

As a result, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.

For I think, God has exhibited us, the apostles, last of all as men condemned to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to mankind.We are fools on account of Christ, but you are prudent in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are without honor!Up to this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed and roughly treated and homeless;and we labor, working with our own hands; when we are verbally abused, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;when we are slandered, we reply as friends; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

Therefore be patient, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne,

to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life;but to those who are self serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.

And not only this, but we also celebrate in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;

So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.And if someone likewise competes as an athlete, he is not crowned as victor unless he competes according to the rules.The hard working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David, according to my gospel,for which I suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal; but the word of God is not imprisoned.For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.The statement is trustworthy: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He will also deny us;

Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he* said to me,“ Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brothers and sisters who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
