I was watching in the night visions,“ And with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man was approaching. He went up to the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.

“ I am,” said Jesus,“ and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

Then they will see the Son of Man arriving in a cloud with power and great glory.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath.

Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

Dark clouds surround him; equity and justice are the foundation of his throne.

The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will certainly not allow the wicked to go unpunished. He marches out in the whirlwind and the raging storm; dark storm clouds billow like dust under his feet.

Then the kings of the earth, the very important people, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.They said to the mountains and to the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”

Here is a message about Egypt: Look, the Lord rides on a swift- moving cloud and approaches Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him; the Egyptians lose their courage.

How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?

After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,because his judgments are true and just. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his servants poured out by her own hands!”Then a second time the crowd shouted,“ Hallelujah!” The smoke rises from her forever and ever.

and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

Then I looked, and a white cloud appeared, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man! He had a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.Then another angel came out of the temple, shouting in a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud,“ Use your sickle and start to reap, because the time to reap has come, since the earth’s harvest is ripe!”So the one seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

May all your enemies perish like this, O LORD! But may those who love you shine like the rising sun at its brightest!” And the land had rest for forty years.

God springs into action! His enemies scatter; his adversaries run from him.

and then have committed apostasy, to renew them again to repentance, since they are crucifying the Son of God for themselves all over again and holding him up to contempt.

But Jesus turned to them and said,“ Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.For this is certain: The days are coming when they will say,‘ Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore children, and the breasts that never nursed!’Then they will begin to say to the mountains,‘ Fall on us!’ and to the hills,‘ Cover us!’

The merchants who sold these things, who got rich from her, will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment. They will weep and mourn,saying,“ Woe, woe, O great city– dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet clothing, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls–because in a single hour such great wealth has been destroyed!” And every ship’s captain, and all who sail along the coast– seamen, and all who make their living from the sea, stood a long way offand began to shout when they saw the smoke from the fire that burned her up,“ Who is like the great city?”And they threw dust on their heads and were shouting with weeping and mourning,“ Woe, Woe, O great city– in which all those who had ships on the sea got rich from her wealth– because in a single hour she has been destroyed!”( Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has pronounced judgment against her on your behalf!)
