and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.

and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world. All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.

And from Jesus Christ,[ who is] the faithful witness,[ and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

and from Jesus Christ– the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood—

And I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

“ And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:‘ The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.

that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.”

On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!

Then Pilate said to him,“ So you are a king?” Jesus answered,“ You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world— to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

which he will display at the proper time— he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

And Jesus came and said to them,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.

And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

For there are three that testify:the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree.If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son.Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

His offspring shall endure forever, his throne as long as the sun before me.Like the moon it shall be established forever, a faithful witness in the skies.” Selah

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,

I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession,

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers, that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.

Jesus answered,“ Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.

Peter said to him,“ You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him,“ If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.”Simon Peter said to him,“ Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!”Jesus said to him,“ The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.”

He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony.

“ On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.

By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just;by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.

But the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam; instead the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loved you.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.
