and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.

and from Jesus Christ– the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood—

I will also make him my firstborn, greatest of the kings of the earth.

These will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we can serve the living God?

He is also the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.

but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea: Thus says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of God’s creation:

that the Messiah would suffer, and that, as the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to our people and to the Gentiles.”

And he has a name written on his robe and on his thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Let all kings bow in homage to him, all nations serve him.

“ You are a king then?” Pilate asked.“ You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied.“ I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

God will bring this about in his own time. He is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords,

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.

Jesus came near and said to them,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,

He was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, so that those of every people, nation, and language should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

For there are three that testify:the Spirit, the water, and the blood— and these three are in agreement.If we accept human testimony, God’s testimony is greater, because it is God’s testimony that he has given about his Son.The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about his Son.

and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

His offspring will continue forever, his throne like the sun before me,like the moon, established forever, a faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at his coming, those who belong to Christ.

The seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens—far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And he subjected everything under his feet and appointed him as head over everything for the church,

In the presence of God, who gives life to all, and of Christ Jesus, who gave a good confession before Pontius Pilate, I charge you

“ Truly I tell you, we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,

I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

But because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors, he brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from the place of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Before the Passover Festival, Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

“ As the Father has loved me, I have also loved you. Remain in my love.

“ Even if I testify about myself,” Jesus replied,“ My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.You judge by human standards. I judge no one.And if I do judge, my judgment is true, because it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.

“ You will never wash my feet,” Peter said. Jesus replied,“ If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.”Simon Peter said to him,“ Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.”“ One who has bathed,” Jesus told him,“ doesn’t need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”

He testifies to what he has seen and heard, and yet no one accepts his testimony.

“ On that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the residents of Jerusalem, to wash away sin and impurity.

It is by me that kings reign and rulers enact just law;by me, princes lead, as do nobles and all righteous judges.

Yet the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam, but he turned the curse into a blessing for you because the LORD your God loves you.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

“ I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.

So the king gave orders to summon the magicians, mediums, sorcerers, and Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. When they came and stood before the king,

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for herto make her holy, cleansing her with the washing of water by the word.He did this to present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless.
