and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.

祂是教會的頭，教會是祂的身體；祂是源頭，是首先從死裡復活的，這樣祂可以在一切事上居首位。

而是靠無瑕無疵的代罪羔羊——基督的寶血。

「你要寫信告訴老底嘉教會的天使，那位實實在在、誠信無偽的見證人，就是上帝所造萬物的元首說，

就是基督必須受害，並首先從死裡復活，將光明帶給猶太人和外族人。」

祂的衣服和大腿上都寫著祂的名號：「萬王之王，萬主之主。」

願君王都敬拜他，萬國都事奉他。

於是彼拉多對祂說：「那麼，你是王嗎？」耶穌說：「你說我是王，我正是為此而生，也為此來到世上為真理做見證，屬於真理的人都聽從我的話。」

到了時候，配得稱頌、獨有權能的萬王之王、萬主之主要使基督顯現。

你們要為自己，也要為教會的群羊警醒，因為聖靈已經任命你們做群羊的監督，牧養上帝的教會。教會是主用自己的血贖回來的。

耶穌上前對門徒說：「天上地下所有的權柄都交給我了。

我使他統管萬民，向萬民做見證。

他得到權柄、榮耀和國度，各族、各邦、各語種的人都要事奉他。他的統治直到永遠、沒有窮盡，他的國度永不滅亡。

這樣，做見證的共有三樣：聖靈、水和血。這三者是一致的。我們既然接受人的見證，就更該接受上帝的見證，因為上帝為祂的兒子作了見證。信上帝兒子的人心裡有這見證，不信上帝的人等於把上帝當作撒謊的，因為他不信上帝為祂兒子做的見證。

要以愛心待人，像基督愛我們一樣，祂為我們犧牲自己作為獻給上帝的馨香供物和祭物。

他的後裔必永無窮盡，他的王位必在我面前如日長存，又如天上亙古不變的月亮，永遠堅立。」（細拉）

然而，基督已經從死裡復活，祂是死人中第一個復活的。既然死亡的到來是藉著一人，復活的到來也是藉著一人。因為正如在亞當裡眾人都死了，同樣，在基督裡眾人也都要復活。然而，各人要按照先後次序復活。基督最先復活，以後祂再來時，屬祂的人也要復活。

第七位天使吹響號角的時候，天上有大聲音說：「世上的國度現在已經屬於我們的主和祂所立的基督了。祂要作王，直到永永遠遠。」

我回答說：「先生，你知道答案。」他便說：「這些都是經過大災難的人，他們用羔羊的血將衣裳洗得純淨潔白。

上帝曾用這大能使基督從死裡復活，使基督在天上坐在自己右邊，遠遠超越今生永世所有執政的、掌權的、有能力的、作主宰的和一切的權勢。祂又使萬物降服在基督腳下，使基督為教會作萬物的元首。

在賜萬物生命的上帝面前，也在向本丟·彼拉多做過美好見證的基督耶穌面前，我囑咐你：

我實實在在地告訴你，我們所說的是自己知道的，所見證的是自己見過的，可是你們不肯接受我們的見證。

然而上帝有豐富的憐憫，祂深愛我們，

我已經與基督一同被釘在十字架上，現在活著的不再是我，而是基督活在我裡面。我現在是靠信上帝的兒子而活著，祂愛我，為我捨命。

你們當中有些以前就是這樣的人，但靠著主耶穌基督的名和我們上帝的靈，你們已經被洗淨，成為聖潔的義人了。

而是因為祂愛你們，遵守祂向你們祖先所起的誓。因此，祂用大能的手把你們從受奴役的地方領出來，從埃及王法老手中救贖了你們。

逾越節之前，耶穌知道自己快要離開世界回到父那裡了。祂一直愛世上屬自己的人，並且愛他們到底。

父怎樣愛我，我也怎樣愛你們。你們要常在我的愛中。

耶穌說：「即便我自己為自己做見證，我的見證仍是真實的，因為我知道自己從哪裡來、要到哪裡去，你們卻不知道我從哪裡來、要到哪裡去。你們只憑外表判斷別人，我卻不判斷人。就算我判斷人，我的判斷也是正確的，因為我不是獨自一人，還有差我來的父與我同在。

彼得說：「你絕對不可以洗我的腳。」耶穌說：「如果我不洗你的腳，你就和我沒有關係了。」西門·彼得說：「主啊，不只我的腳，連我的手和頭也幫我洗吧。」耶穌說：「洗過澡的人全身是乾淨的，只要洗洗腳就好了。你們是乾淨的，但不是每一個都乾淨。」

要把所見所聞講給人聽，只是沒有人接受祂的見證。

「到那天，必為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民開一個泉源，洗淨他們的罪惡和污穢。

君王靠我安邦定國，首領藉我秉公行義，王公大臣靠我治理天下，官宦貴胄憑我公正斷案。

但你們的上帝耶和華不聽巴蘭的話，反而把咒詛變為祝福，因為祂愛你們。

然而，靠著愛我們的主，我們在這一切事上已經得勝有餘了。

我賜給你們一條新命令——你們要彼此相愛。我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣彼此相愛。

便派人召來術士、巫師、行法術的和占星家，為他解夢。他們都來到王面前。

作丈夫的要愛妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己，好藉著自己的道用水洗淨教會，使她聖潔，以便把聖潔、完美、沒有污點、皺紋等瑕疵的榮耀教會呈獻給祂自己。
