and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.

In the middle of them was someone who looked“ like a son of man.”( Daniel 7:13) He was dressed in a long robe with a gold strip of cloth around his chest.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold,[ one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud[ one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

And they shall make the ephod[ of] gold,[ of] blue, and[ of] purple,[ of] scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and[ so] it shall be joined together.And the curious girdle of the ephod, which[ is] upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof;[ even of] gold,[ of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound[ it] unto him therewith.

And above the firmament that[ was] over their heads[ was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne[ was] the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so[ was] the appearance of the brightness round about. This[ was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw[ it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

And the curious girdle of his ephod, that[ was] upon it,[ was] of the same, according to the work thereof;[ of] gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment[ was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne[ was like] the fiery flame,[ and] his wheels[ as] burning fire.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as[ we are, yet] without sin.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.For verily he took not on[ him the nature of] angels; but he took on[ him] the seed of Abraham.Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto[ his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things[ pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
