彼乃喋喋、出言傲慢、作惡者皆自誇兮、

維彼措詞暴厲、出語矜誇、伊於何底兮、

彼眾肆口而出狂言、一切行惡者、皆自矜誇、

炎威不可當炙手信可熱。

They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers are full of boasting.

Proud words pour out of their mouths. All those who do evil are always bragging.

They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.

How long will they speak with arrogance? How long will these evil people boast?

They pour out arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.

They pour out words, they speak arrogantly; All who do injustice boast.

They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves.

[ How long] shall they utter[ and] speak hard things?[ and] all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

They spew out threats and speak defiantly; all the evildoers boast.

Let the lying lips be put to silence, Which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually.

Yet they say to God,‘ Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?’

They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak loftily.They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walks through the earth.

Indeed, they belch with their mouth; Swords are in their lips; For they say,“ Who hears?”

Then they said,“ Come and let us devise plans against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come and let us attack him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.”

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it? As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up, Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood!

“ I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.

The enemy said,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’You blew with Your wind, The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.

The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; He blesses the greedy and renounces the Lord.The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.He has said in his heart,“ I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity.”His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression; Under his tongue is trouble and iniquity.

They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; The poison of asps is under their lips. Selah

Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their bows to shoot their arrows— bitter words,That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.

And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
