But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.

You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God, are my fortress.

The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.

these are the ones who will dwell on high. The rocks of the mountains will be their fortress. Food will be supplied to them, and they will have water in abundance.

The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.O my Strength, to you I sing praises, for you, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love.

He punishes the nations— won’t he also punish you? He knows everything— doesn’t he also know what you are doing?
