那些坐在奸惡王位上的，就是藉著律例製造禍患的，難道能成為你的盟友嗎？

奸惡在位、藉律作慝、豈能與爾交通乎、

惡人在位、立法不善、爾豈佑之兮、

惡人在位抗逆律法、肆行殘害、豈能與主聯合、

兇逆居上位。弄法施暴虐。

Can a corrupt throne be allied with you— a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?

Can you have anything to do with rulers who aren’t fair? Can those who make laws that cause suffering be friends of yours?

Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute?

Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side— leaders whose decrees permit injustice?

Can a corrupt throne be your ally, a throne that makes evil laws?

Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?

Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?

Can a corrupt throne— one that creates trouble by law— become Your ally?

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

Cruel rulers are not your allies, those who make oppressive laws.

Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?

Nay, in heart ye work wickedness; Ye weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.

Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers that write perverseness;

What unto me is the multitude of your sacrifices? saith Jehovah: I have had enough of the burnt- offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he- goats.When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample my courts?Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; new moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies,— I cannot away with iniquity and the solemn meeting.Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth; they are a trouble unto me; I am weary of bearing them.And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken it.

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and the violent taking away of justice and righteousness in a province, marvel not at the matter: for one higher than the high regardeth; and there are higher than they.

And moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the deputies and the satraps, the counsellors and the governors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a strong interdict, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the interdict.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endureth continually.

and he said, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven, or on earth; who keepest covenant and lovingkindness with thy servants, that walk before thee with all their heart;who hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou didst promise him: yea, thou spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thy hand, as it is this day.Now therefore, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk in my law as thou hast walked before me.

God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.
