Rise up, Judge of the earth, Pay back retribution to the proud.How long, Lord, shall the wicked— How long shall the wicked triumph?

So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.

Vengeance is Mine, and retribution; In due time their foot will slip. For the day of their disaster is near, And the impending things are hurrying to them.’For the Lord will vindicate His people, And will have compassion on His servants, When He sees that their strength is gone, And there is none remaining, bond or free.

A bent reed He will not break off And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.

For the scepter of wickedness will not rest upon the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not extend their hands to do wrong.Do good, Lord, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts.But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord will lead them away with those who practice injustice. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.He will bring out your righteousness as the light, And your judgment as the noonday.Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.
