For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with you.The boastful cannot stand in your sight; you hate all evildoers.You destroy those who tell lies; the LORD abhors violent and treacherous people.But I enter your house by the abundance of your faithful love; I bow down toward your holy temple in reverential awe of you.

Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you?If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are.

Because God wanted to show his unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, he guaranteed it with an oath,so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
