『這像尼羅河漲起、其水翻騰像江河的、是誰呢？埃及像尼羅河漲起，其水翻騰像江河；它說：我要漲起，淹沒這地，我要毁滅其居民。

向我們發烈怒時，他們早就把我們活活吞下去了；那麼、大水早就漫過我們，急流早就淹沒我們了；那麼、狂傲的水早就把我們淹沒了。

援救我出離淤泥，別叫我沉陷下去；求你援救我脫離恨我的人和深水。別讓流水漫過我；別讓深水吞滅我；別讓陰坑在我以上而合口。永恆主啊，求你照你堅愛之美好來應我；按你慈悲之豐盛轉臉顧我。

啊，許多外族之民的喧嘩！他們喧嘩，正如諸水之喧嘩；啊，外國之民的怒號！他們的怒號，就像眾水之怒號。外國之民怒號着，就像大水之怒號。但上帝叱責他們，他們就遠遠地逃跑，又被追趕、如同山上的風前糠，又如暴風前的滾轉草。

你曾藉着聖靈、託你僕人、我們先祖大衛、的口說：「眾外國為甚麼怒吼？列族之民為甚麼謀算虛空的事？地上君王列陣站着，眾執政者聚集在一處，敵擋主，敵擋他所膏立的」。希律和本丟彼拉多、同外國人和以色列眾族之民、真地在這城裏聚集，攻打你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，

天使對我說：『你所看見的、淫婦所坐的眾水、就是許多民族、許多羣眾、許多邦國、許多種語言的人。

願海和充滿於海中的、澎湃如雷；願世界和住於其間的、都發聲。願洪流拍掌；願諸山在永恆主面前一同歡呼，

『因為你們必歡歡喜喜出來，平平安安蒙引導；大山小山必在你們面前爆發出歡呼聲；田野所有的樹木必都拍掌。

你將我投下海中心、極深之處；大水環繞着我，你的洪濤、你的波浪、都漫過我。
