你必不怕夜間的恐懼，或是白天飛來的箭；

夜之驚駭、晝之飛矢、

夕有患難、晝有流矢、中宵遘疾疫、亭午逢喪敗、爾俱無所畏兮、

使爾不懼黑夜之震驚、白晝之飛箭、

夜間無有諸恐怖。白日無慮中飛箭。

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

You won’t have to be afraid of the terrors that come during the night. You won’t have to fear the arrows that come at you during the day.

You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.

You will not fear the terror of the night, the arrow that flies by day,

You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

You need not fear the terrors of the night, the arrow that flies by day,

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.

He will deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven no evil will touch you.In famine he will redeem you from death; in war, from the power of the sword.You will be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, neither will you be afraid of destruction when it comes.You will laugh at destruction and famine, neither will you be afraid of the animals of the earth.For you will be allied with the stones of the field. The animals of the field will be at peace with you.You will know that your tent is in peace. You will visit your fold, and will miss nothing.You will know also that your offspring will be great, Your offspring as the grass of the earth.You will come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of grain comes in its season.Look at this. We have searched it. It is so. Hear it, and know it for your good.”

So that with good courage we say,“ The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes;

I laid myself down and slept. I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me.I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.

He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.

Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;

He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.

In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,fear came on me, and trembling, which made all my bones shake.Then a spirit passed before my face. The hair of my flesh stood up.

For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians to hear the sound of chariots, and the sound of horses, even the noise of a great army; and they said to one another,“ Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us.”

My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me.

“ But God said to him,‘ You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared— whose will they be?’

They all handle the sword, and are expert in war. Every man has his sword on his thigh, because of fear in the night.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not allowed his house to be broken into.

The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief.The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying,‘ No eye will see me.’ He disguises his face.In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don’t know the light.

He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.He has caused the shafts of his quiver to enter into my kidneys.

For the arrows of the Almighty are within me. My spirit drinks up their poison. The terrors of God set themselves in array against me.
