孰識爾怒之勢、孰依畏爾之道、而知爾忿乎、

誰曉得你怒氣的權勢？誰按着你該受的敬畏曉得你的忿怒呢？

孰知爾怒震烈、而敬乎其所當敬兮、

何人能識主怒之威嚴、誰能依敬畏主之道、明曉主之盛怒、

一念主之威。不寒自懍慄。

錫安之罪人恐懼、不虔之輩戰慄、曰、我儕孰能與烈火同居、與不滅之火並處、

我必拂逆爾、緣爾之罪扑責爾、至於七倍、

蓋其怒之大日至矣、誰能立哉、

我必震怒、以拂逆爾、督責爾罪、至於七倍、

爾若仍不聽從、將懲爾罪、至於七倍、

若此者、耶和華必不赦宥、其怒與忌、如烟之出、必攻斯人、以書所載之詛、加乎其身、塗其名於天下、在以色列諸支派中、耶和華必區別之、循律書所載約中之詛言、加以禍害、爾後世子孫、及彼遠人、見此地之災、暨耶和華所降之疾、又見硫磺與鹽、火焚遍地、不種不產、不生草萊、如所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁、為耶和華忿怒所傾覆者、列邦人皆問曰、耶和華何為行此於斯土、其怒若是之烈、果何故乎、人將對曰、其祖之上帝耶和華、導之出埃及時、與之立約、而彼背之、奉事崇拜他神、素所未識、耶和華亦未嘗聽其服從者、故耶和華震怒斯土、以書所載之詛加之、耶和華以氣憤、忿怒恚恨、拔之斯土、投於異邦、有如今日、隱微之事、屬我上帝耶和華、惟明顯之事、永屬於我、爰及子孫、俾守此律之言、

我以當懼者示爾、即殺後、又有權投於地獄者、我誠語汝、當懼者此也、

惟爾可畏、爾怒奮發、誰能立於爾前兮、

厥怒奮發、孰能屹立、孰能當其忿怒之烈、其怒傾洩如火、磐巖為之崩裂、

我知主之可畏而勸人、我已顯於上帝、亦望顯於爾心、

爾尚頑梗、不欲順從、則按罪降災、至於七倍、

則耶和華必使爾遘奇異之災、至重至久之殃、艱苦纏綿之病、爰及苗裔、
