至于那些围困我的人，愿他们嘴唇的祸患遮盖自己的头；

愿锡安山因你的审判而欢喜，愿犹大女子因此而快乐。

今天耶和华必把你交在我手中，我要击杀你，从你身上砍下你的头。今天我还要把非利士军兵的尸首给天空的飞鸟和地上的野兽。这样全地都会知道：以色列中有一位神；

因你口中的言语陷入圈套，因你口中的言语被捉住了——

耶和华——我的磐石、我的救赎主啊，愿我口中的言语、心里的默想，在你面前蒙悦纳。

因此耶和华的话语对他们就成了“命令加命令，命令加命令；条例加条例，条例加条例；这里一点，那里一点”，致使他们走路时向后跌倒摔伤，陷入圈套被缠住。
