求主憐恤我、鑒察我仇人加於我之苦難、從死門中將我救援、

無辜之血主常恤。冤屈之人必得直。

Lord, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,

Lord, see how badly my enemies treat me! Help me! Don’t let me go down to the gates of death!

Be gracious to me, O Lord! See my affliction from those who hate me, O you who lift me up from the gates of death,

Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, (niv)

For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. (niv)

Her filthiness clung to her skirts; she did not consider her future. Her fall was astounding; there was none to comfort her.“ Look, Lord, on my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed.” (niv)

Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me. (niv)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. (niv)

The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow.Then I called on the name of the Lord:“ Lord, save me!” (niv)

All her people groan as they search for bread; they barter their treasures for food to keep themselves alive.“ Look, Lord, and consider, for I am despised.” (niv)

Look on my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law. (niv)

Many have become my enemies without cause; those who hate me without reason are numerous. (niv)

Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. (niv)

They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death. (niv)
