In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him.

God is highly respected among his holy angels. He’s more wonderful than all those who are around him.

And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. The earth quakes at His wrath, And the nations cannot endure His indignation.

And great fear came over the whole church, and over all who heard about these things.

And they* sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Seraphim were standing above Him, each having six wings: with two each covered his face, and with two each covered his feet, and with two each flew.And one called out to another and said,“ Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of armies. The whole earth is full of His glory.”And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke.Then I said,“ Woe to me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of armies.”Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs.He touched my mouth with it and said,“ Behold, this has touched your lips; and your guilt is taken away and atonement is made for your sin.”

“ Now I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed someone, has the power to throw that person into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!

Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations And in all their kingdoms, There is none like You.
