With which Your enemies have taunted, Lord, With which they have taunted the footsteps of Your anointed.

the taunts with which your enemies, Lord, have mocked, with which they have mocked every step of your anointed one.

Lord, your enemies have said mean things. They have laughed at everything your anointed king has done.

with which your enemies mock, O Lord, with which they mock the footsteps of your anointed.

Your enemies have mocked me, O Lord; they mock your anointed king wherever he goes.

how your enemies have ridiculed, LORD, how they have ridiculed every step of your anointed.

With which Your enemies have reproached, O Lord, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Jehovah, Wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

He will send from heaven and save me; He rebukes the one who tramples upon me. Selah God will send His favor and His truth.

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, and of God, rests upon you.Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler;but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.

and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who disparage your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame.

For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps,

partly by being made a public spectacle through insults and distress, and partly by becoming companions with those who were so treated.

The Jews answered and said to Him,“ Do we not rightly say that You are a Samaritan, and You have a demon?”

and we labor, working with our own hands; when we are verbally abused, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;when we are slandered, we reply as friends; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

How long, God, will the enemy taunt You? Shall the enemy treat Your name disrespectfully forever?
