Lord, remember how my enemies have made fun of me. I’ve had to put up with mean words from all the nations.

Consider, Lord, how your servants are disgraced! I carry in my heart the insults of so many people.

Remember, Lord, the ridicule against your servants— in my heart I carry abuse from all the peoples—

For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.

Wherefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed Be known among the nations in our sight.Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee: According to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to death;And render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom Their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: Mine adversaries are all before thee.Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.
