For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

Again, Isaiah says,“ There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”

I will sing of the loving kindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

He said to them,“ Why do they say that the Christ is David’s son?David himself says in the book of Psalms,‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand,until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’“ David therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?”

Now therefore let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, Lord Yahweh, have spoken it. Let the house of your servant be blessed forever with your blessing.”
