乃今主屏棄厭惡所立之受膏者、向其大震烈怒、

明證懸中天。有如月之恆。』

But you have rejected, you have spurned, you have been very angry with your anointed one.

But you have turned your back on your anointed king. You have been very angry with him.

But now you have cast off and rejected; you are full of wrath against your anointed.

But now you have rejected him and cast him off. You are angry with your anointed king.

But you have spurned and rejected him; you have become enraged with your anointed.

But You have rejected and refused, You have been full of wrath against Your anointed.

But You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.

But thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

But You have spurned and rejected him; You have become enraged with Your anointed.

But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.

But the LORD took note and despised them because his sons and daughters enraged him.

“ And you, Solomon my son, obey the God of your father and serve him with a submissive attitude and a willing spirit, for the LORD examines all minds and understands every motive of one’s thoughts. If you seek him, he will let you find him, but if you abandon him, he will reject you permanently.

Your enemies, O LORD, hurl insults; they insult your chosen king as they dog his footsteps.

O mountains of Gilboa, may there be no dew or rain on you, nor fields of grain offerings! For it was there that the shield of warriors was defiled; the shield of Saul lies neglected without oil.

O God, take notice of our shield! Show concern for your chosen king!

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate,” says the LORD who rules over all. Strike the shepherd that the flock may be scattered; I will turn my hand against the insignificant ones.

My God will reject them, for they have not obeyed him; so they will be fugitives among the nations.

God heard and was angry; he completely rejected Israel.

Next I eradicated the three shepherds in one month, for I ran out of patience with them and, indeed, they detested me as well.

So the LORD was angry with his people and despised the people who belong to him.

But you rejected and embarrassed us! You did not go into battle with our armies.You made us retreat from the enemy. Those who hate us take whatever they want from us.You handed us over like sheep to be eaten; you scattered us among the nations.You sold your people for a pittance; you did not ask a high price for them.You made us an object of disdain to our neighbors; those who live on our borders taunt and insult us.You made us an object of ridicule among the nations; foreigners treat us with contempt.All day long I feel humiliated and am overwhelmed with shame,before the vindictive enemy who ridicules and insults me.All this has happened to us, even though we have not rejected you or violated your covenant with us.We have not been unfaithful, nor have we disobeyed your commands.Yet you have battered us, leaving us a heap of ruins overrun by wild dogs; you have covered us with darkness.If we had rejected our God, and spread out our hands in prayer to another god,would not God discover it, for he knows one’s thoughts?Yet because of you we are killed all day long; we are treated like sheep at the slaughtering block.Rouse yourself! Why do you sleep, O Lord? Wake up! Do not reject us forever!Why do you look the other way, and ignore the way we are oppressed and mistreated?For we lie in the dirt, with our bellies pressed to the ground.Rise up and help us! Rescue us because of your loyal love!

The Lord rejected his altar and abhorred his temple. He handed over to the enemy her palace walls; the enemy shouted in the Lord’s temple as if it were a feast day.ח( Khet)

I asked,“ Will the Lord reject me forever? Will he never again show me his favor?

After Rehoboam’s rule was established and solidified, he and all Israel rejected the law of the LORD.Because they were unfaithful to the LORD, in King Rehoboam’s fifth year, King Shishak of Egypt attacked Jerusalem.He had 1,200 chariots, 60,000 horsemen, and an innumerable number of soldiers who accompanied him from Egypt, including Libyans, Sukkites, and Cushites.He captured the fortified cities of Judah and marched against Jerusalem.Shemaiah the prophet visited Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah who were assembled in Jerusalem because of Shishak. He said to them,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ You have rejected me, so I have rejected you and will hand you over to Shishak.’”The leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said,“ The LORD is just.”When the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, he gave this message to Shemaiah:“ They have humbled themselves, so I will not destroy them. I will deliver them soon. My anger will not be unleashed against Jerusalem through Shishak.Yet they will become his subjects, so they can experience how serving me differs from serving the surrounding nations.”King Shishak of Egypt attacked Jerusalem and took away the treasures of the LORD’s temple and of the royal palace; he took everything, including the gold shields that Solomon had made.King Rehoboam made bronze shields to replace them and assigned them to the officers of the royal guard who protected the entrance to the royal palace.Whenever the king visited the LORD’s temple, the royal guards carried them and then brought them back to the guardroom.So when Rehoboam humbled himself, the LORD relented from his anger and did not annihilate him; Judah experienced some good things.

LORD, you have always been fair whenever I have complained to you. However, I would like to speak with you about the disposition of justice. Why are wicked people successful? Why do all dishonest people have such easy lives?

O God, you have rejected us. You suddenly turned on us in your anger. Please restore us!

Our very life breath– the Lord’ s anointed king– was caught in their traps, of whom we thought,“ Under his protection we will survive among the nations.”ש( Sin/ Shin)

However, if he should say,‘ I do not take pleasure in you,’ then he will deal with me in a way that he considers appropriate.”

Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.
