But You have rejected and refused, You have been full of wrath against Your anointed.

乃今主屏棄厭惡所立之受膏者、向其大震烈怒、

明證懸中天。有如月之恆。』

But you have rejected, you have spurned, you have been very angry with your anointed one.

But you have turned your back on your anointed king. You have been very angry with him.

But now you have cast off and rejected; you are full of wrath against your anointed.

But now you have rejected him and cast him off. You are angry with your anointed king.

But you have spurned and rejected him; you have become enraged with your anointed.

But You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.

But thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

“ The Lord saw this, and spurned them Because of the provocation by His sons and daughters.

“ As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

With which Your enemies have taunted, Lord, With which they have taunted the footsteps of Your anointed.

Mountains of Gilboa, May there be no dew nor rain on you, or fields of offerings! For there the shield of the mighty was defiled, The shield of Saul, not anointed with oil.

See our shield, God, And look at the face of Your anointed.

“ Awake, sword, against My Shepherd, And against the Man, My Associate,” Declares the Lord of armies.“ Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

My God will reject them Because they have not listened to Him; And they will be wanderers among the nations.

When God heard them, He was filled with wrath And He utterly rejected Israel;

Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against His people, And He loathed His inheritance.

Yet You have rejected us and brought us to dishonor, And do not go out with our armies.You cause us to turn back from the enemy; And those who hate us have taken spoils for themselves.You turn us over to be eaten like sheep, And have scattered us among the nations.You sell Your people cheaply, And have not profited by their sale.You make us an object of reproach to our neighbors, Of scoffing and ridicule to those around us.You make us a proverb among the nations, A laughingstock among the peoples.All day long my dishonor is before me And I am covered with my humiliation,Because of the voice of one who taunts and reviles, Because of the presence of the enemy and the avenger.All this has come upon us, but we have not forgotten You, And we have not dealt falsely with Your covenant.Our heart has not turned back, And our steps have not deviated from Your way,Yet You have crushed us in a place of jackals And covered us with deep darkness.If we had forgotten the name of our God Or extended our hands to a strange god,Would God not find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.But for Your sake we are killed all day long; We are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.Wake Yourself up, why do You sleep, Lord? Awake, do not reject us forever.Why do You hide Your face And forget our affliction and oppression?For our souls have sunk down into the dust; Our bodies cling to the earth.Rise up, be our help, And redeem us because of Your mercy.

The Lord has rejected His altar, He has repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed over The walls of her palaces to the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord As on the day of an appointed feast.

Will the Lord reject forever? And will He never be favorable again?

When the kingdom of Rehoboam was established and strong, he and all Israel with him abandoned the Law of the Lord.And it came about in King Rehoboam’s fifth year, because they had been unfaithful to the Lord, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalemwith 1,200 chariots and sixty thousand horsemen. And the people who came with him from Egypt were innumerable: the Lubim, the Sukkiim, and the Ethiopians.And he captured the fortified cities of Judah and came as far as Jerusalem.Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the princes of Judah who had gathered at Jerusalem because of Shishak, and he said to them,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You have abandoned Me, so I also have abandoned you to Shishak.’ ”So the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said,“ The Lord is righteous.”When the Lord saw that they had humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying,“ They have humbled themselves, so I will not destroy them; and I will grant them a little deliverance, and My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem by means of Shishak.But they will become his slaves, so that they may learn the difference between My service and the service of the kingdoms of the countries.”So Shishak king of Egypt went up against Jerusalem, and he took the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s palace. He took everything; he even took the gold shields which Solomon had made.Then King Rehoboam made shields of bronze in their place and committed them to the care of the commanders of the guards who guarded the entrance of the king’s house.As often as the king entered the house of the Lord, the guards came and carried them and then brought them back into the guards’ room.And when he humbled himself, the anger of the Lord turned away from him, so as not to destroy him completely; and conditions were also good in Judah.

Righteous are You, Lord, when I plead my case with You; Nevertheless I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?

God, You have rejected us. You have broken us; You have been angry; restore us!

The breath of our nostrils, the Lord’s anointed, Was captured in their pits, Of whom we had said,“ In his shadow We shall live among the nations.”

But if He says this:‘ I have no delight in you,’ then here I am, let Him do to me as seems good to Him.”

Have You Yourself not rejected us, God? And will You not go out with our armies, God?
