But You have spurned and rejected him; You have become enraged with Your anointed.

但你惱怒你的受膏者，就丟掉棄絕他。

但你惱怒你的受膏者，拒絕他，離棄了他。

但你惱怒你的受膏者，拒絕他，離棄了他。

你卻惱怒你的受膏者，丟掉棄絕他。

但如今你、你卻屏棄而拒絕他；你震怒你所膏立的。

但如今，你對你的受膏者動了怒，你拋棄並厭棄了他。

惟爾怒爾受膏者、屏而棄之兮、

余竊自思、曰、昔爾沐以膏者、今厭棄之、加以震怒兮、

乃今主屏棄厭惡所立之受膏者、向其大震烈怒、

明證懸中天。有如月之恆。』

But you have rejected, you have spurned, you have been very angry with your anointed one.

But you have turned your back on your anointed king. You have been very angry with him.

But now you have cast off and rejected; you are full of wrath against your anointed.

But now you have rejected him and cast him off. You are angry with your anointed king.

But you have spurned and rejected him; you have become enraged with your anointed.

But You have rejected and refused, You have been full of wrath against Your anointed.

But You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.

But thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

But you have spurned and rejected him; you are angry with your chosen king.

But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.

When the Lord saw this, He despised them, provoked to anger by His sons and daughters.

“ As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

how Your enemies have ridiculed, Lord, how they have ridiculed every step of Your anointed.

Mountains of Gilboa, let no dew or rain be on you, or fields of offerings, for there the shield of the mighty was defiled— the shield of Saul, no longer anointed with oil.

Consider our shield, God; look on the face of Your anointed one.

Sword, awake against My shepherd, against the man who is My associate— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will also turn My hand against the little ones.

My God will reject them because they have not listened to Him; they will become wanderers among the nations.

God heard and became furious; He completely rejected Israel.

In one month I got rid of three shepherds. I became impatient with them, and they also detested me.

Therefore the Lord’s anger burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance.

But You have rejected and humiliated us; You do not march out with our armies.You make us retreat from the foe, and those who hate us have taken plunder for themselves.You hand us over to be eaten like sheep and scatter us among the nations.You sell Your people for nothing; You make no profit from selling them.You make us an object of reproach to our neighbors, a source of mockery and ridicule to those around us.You make us a joke among the nations, a laughingstock among the peoples.My disgrace is before me all day long, and shame has covered my face,because of the voice of the scorner and reviler, because of the enemy and avenger.All this has happened to us, but we have not forgotten You or betrayed Your covenant.Our hearts have not turned back; our steps have not strayed from Your path.But You have crushed us in a haunt of jackals and have covered us with deepest darkness.If we had forgotten the name of our God and spread out our hands to a foreign god,wouldn’t God have found this out, since He knows the secrets of the heart?Because of You we are slain all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.Wake up, Lord! Why are You sleeping? Get up! Don’t reject us forever!Why do You hide Yourself and forget our affliction and oppression?For we have sunk down to the dust; our bodies cling to the ground.Rise up! Help us! Redeem us because of Your faithful love.

The Lord has rejected His altar, repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed the walls of her palaces over to the enemy. They have raised a shout in the house of the Lord as on the day of an appointed festival.

“ Will the Lord reject forever and never again show favor?

When Rehoboam had established his sovereignty and royal power, he abandoned the law of the Lord— he and all Israel with him.Because they were unfaithful to the Lord, in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt went to war against Jerusalemwith 1,200 chariots, 60,000 cavalrymen, and countless people who came with him from Egypt— Libyans, Sukkiim, and Cushites.He captured the fortified cities of Judah and came as far as Jerusalem.Then Shemaiah the prophet went to Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah who were gathered at Jerusalem because of Shishak. He said to them:“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You have abandoned Me; therefore, I have abandoned you into the hand of Shishak.’”So the leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said,“ Yahweh is righteous.”When the Lord saw that they had humbled themselves, the Lord’s message came to Shemaiah:“ They have humbled themselves; I will not destroy them but will grant them a little deliverance. My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.However, they will become his servants so that they may recognize the difference between serving Me and serving the kingdoms of other lands.”So King Shishak of Egypt went to war against Jerusalem. He seized the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace. He took everything. He took the gold shields that Solomon had made.King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place and committed them into the care of the captains of the royal escorts who guarded the entrance to the king’s palace.Whenever the king entered the Lord’s temple, the royal escorts would carry the shields and take them back to the royal escorts’ armory.When Rehoboam humbled himself, the Lord’s anger turned away from him, and He did not destroy him completely. Besides that, conditions were good in Judah.

You will be righteous, Lord, even if I bring a case against You. Yet, I wish to contend with You: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the treacherous live at ease?

God, You have rejected us; You have broken out against us; You have been angry. Restore us!

The Lord’s anointed, the breath of our life, was captured in their traps. We had said about him,“ We will live under his protection among the nations.”

However, if He should say,‘ I do not delight in you,’ then here I am— He can do with me whatever pleases Him.”

God, haven’t You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies.
