是你擊碎了拉哈龍、如已被刺死的；你用大力的膀臂趕散了你的仇敵。

是你壓碎拉哈伯，使它如同被刺透的人；你用大力的膀臂打散你的仇敵。

爾擊破拉哈伯、等於被戮之人、以爾臂力潰爾敵兮、

爾使喇合糜爛、如遭殺戮、爾展巨能、俾敵離散兮、

拉哈伯為主所擊破、如遭殺戮、主以大力之臂、驅散仇敵、

神威鎮滄海。狂濤應聲止。

You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.

You crushed Egypt and killed her people. With your powerful arm you scattered your enemies.

You crushed Rahab like a carcass; you scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

You crushed the great sea monster. You scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

You crushed Rahab like one who is slain; you scattered your enemies with your powerful arm.

You Yourself crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.

You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one who is slain; You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

You crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your powerful arm.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

You crushed the Proud One and killed it; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.

Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.

Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him.

Or has God tried to go and take a nation for himself from among another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand, by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Yahweh your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Behold, I have made you as God to Pharaoh; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.You shall speak all that I command you; and Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.But Pharaoh will not listen to you, so I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring out my armies, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.The Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh when I stretch out my hand on Egypt, and bring the children of Israel out from among them.”Moses and Aaron did so. As Yahweh commanded them, so they did.Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty- three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,“ When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying,‘ Perform a miracle!’ then you shall tell Aaron,‘ Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent.’”Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded. Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. They also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing with their enchantments.For they each cast down their rods, and they became serpents; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.Yahweh said to Moses,“ Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn. He refuses to let the people go.Go to Pharaoh in the morning. Behold, he is going out to the water. You shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him. You shall take the rod which was turned to a serpent in your hand.

I know that the king of Egypt won’t give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.I will reach out my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do among them, and after that he will let you go.

how he set his signs in Egypt, his wonders in the field of Zoan,he turned their rivers into blood, and their streams, so that they could not drink.He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.He gave also their increase to the caterpillar, and their labor to the locust.He destroyed their vines with hail, their sycamore fig trees with frost.He gave over their livestock also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.He threw on them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, indignation, and trouble, and a band of angels of evil.He made a path for his anger. He didn’t spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence,and struck all the firstborn in Egypt, the chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.But he led out his own people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.He led them safely, so that they weren’t afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.He brought them to the border of his sanctuary, to this mountain, which his right hand had taken.He also drove out the nations before them, allotted them for an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, and didn’t keep his testimonies,but turned back, and dealt treacherously like their fathers. They were twisted like a deceitful bow.For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their engraved images.When God heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel,so that he abandoned the tent of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men,and delivered his strength into captivity, his glory into the adversary’s hand.He also gave his people over to the sword, and was angry with his inheritance.Fire devoured their young men. Their virgins had no wedding song.Their priests fell by the sword, and their widows couldn’t weep.Then the Lord awakened as one out of sleep, like a mighty man who shouts by reason of wine.He struck his adversaries backward. He put them to a perpetual reproach.Moreover he rejected the tent of Joseph, and didn’t choose the tribe of Ephraim,But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me. Behold, Philistia, Tyre, and also Ethiopia:“ This one was born there.”

They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.He spoke, and the locusts came with the grasshoppers, without number,ate up every plant in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise Yah!

Rebuke the wild animal of the reeds, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples. Being humbled, may it bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations that delight in war.

Don’t kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, Lord our shield.
