You have driven my friends away by making me repulsive to them. I am in a trap with no way of escape.

You have taken from me my closest friends and have made me repulsive to them. I am confined and cannot escape;

You have taken my closest friends away from me. You have made me sickening to them. I feel trapped and can’t escape.

You have caused my companions to shun me; you have made me a horror to them. I am shut in so that I cannot escape;

You have distanced my friends from me; you have made me repulsive to them. I am shut in and cannot go out.

You have removed my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an object of loathing to them; I am shut up and cannot go out.

You have put away my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut up, and I cannot get out;

Thou hast put mine acquaintance far from me; Thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.

“ My relatives stay far away, and my friends have turned against me.My family is gone, and my close friends have forgotten me.My servants and maids consider me a stranger. I am like a foreigner to them.When I call my servant, he doesn’t come; I have to plead with him!My breath is repulsive to my wife. I am rejected by my own family.Even young children despise me. When I stand to speak, they turn their backs on me.My close friends detest me. Those I loved have turned against me.

God has blocked my way so I cannot move. He has plunged my path into darkness.

I am losing all hope; I am paralyzed with fear.

You have taken away my companions and loved ones. Darkness is my closest friend.

What he destroys cannot be rebuilt. When he puts someone in prison, there is no escape.

I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.

Anyone who hates me also hates my Father.If I hadn’t done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.

So the governor asked again,“ Which of these two do you want me to release to you?” The crowd shouted back,“ Barabbas!”Pilate responded,“ Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” They shouted back,“ Crucify him!”“ Why?” Pilate demanded.“ What crime has he committed?” But the mob roared even louder,“ Crucify him!”Pilate saw that he wasn’t getting anywhere and that a riot was developing. So he sent for a bowl of water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying,“ I am innocent of this man’s blood. The responsibility is yours!”And all the people yelled back,“ We will take responsibility for his death— we and our children!”

“ I have been treading the winepress alone; no one was there to help me. In my anger I have trampled my enemies as if they were grapes. In my fury I have trampled my foes. Their blood has stained my clothes.
