雖生無異死。無告亦無望。

I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care.

People treat me as if I were dead. I’m like those who have been killed and are now in the grave. You don’t even remember them anymore. They are cut off from your care.

That it would please God to crush me, That He would loose His hand and cut me off!

I said,“ In the prime of my life I shall go to the gates of Sheol; I am deprived of the remainder of my years.”I said,“ I shall not see YAH, The Lord in the land of the living; I shall observe man no more among the inhabitants of the world.My life span is gone, Taken from me like a shepherd’s tent; I have cut off my life like a weaver. He cuts me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me.

Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever;

“ Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, All the chief ones of the earth; It has raised up from their thrones All the kings of the nations.They all shall speak and say to you:‘ Have you also become as weak as we? Have you become like us?Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’“ How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

“ If He passes by, imprisons, and gathers to judgment, Then who can hinder Him?

I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt.
