雖生無異死。無告亦無望。

I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care.

People treat me as if I were dead. I’m like those who have been killed and are now in the grave. You don’t even remember them anymore. They are cut off from your care.

Oh, that God would decide to crush me, That He would let loose His hand and cut me off!

I said,“ In the middle of my life I am to enter the gates of Sheol; I have been deprived of the rest of my years.”I said,“ I will not see the Lord, The Lord in the land of the living; I will no longer look on mankind among the inhabitants of the world.Like a shepherd’s tent my dwelling is pulled up and removed from me; As a weaver I rolled up my life. He cuts me off from the loom; From day until night You make an end of me.

Who remembered us in our lowliness, For His faithfulness is everlasting,

Sheol below is excited about you, to meet you when you come; It stirs the spirits of the dead for you, all the leaders of the earth; It raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones.They will all respond and say to you,‘ Even you have become weak as we, You have become like us.Your pride and the music of your harps Have been brought down to Sheol; Maggots are spread out as your bed beneath you And worms are your covering.’How you have fallen from heaven, You star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who defeated the nations!

But God remembered Noah and all the animals and all the livestock that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided.

If He passes by or apprehends people, Or calls an assembly, who can restrain Him?

I am forgotten like a dead person, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.

So it came about, when God destroyed the cities of the surrounding area, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the destruction, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.
