他在我們卑微的時候記念我們，因他的慈愛永遠長存！

「地下的陰間騷動起來迎接你的到來，並為你喚醒陰魂，就是所有生前在地上作過領袖的陰魂；又使所有生前作過列國君王的都從自己寶座上起來。他們都必回應你，說：『你竟然像我們一樣變得軟弱無能，與我們相似了！』你的威勢和你琴瑟的樂聲也被丟下陰間，你下面鋪的是蛆，上面蓋的是蟲。「明亮的晨星，黎明之子啊，你怎麼會從天墜落呢？你這擊敗列國的，怎麼會被砍倒在地呢？

神記念挪亞以及與他一起在方舟裡的所有活物和牲畜。神使風吹過大地，水就開始退落。

我像死人那樣從人心中被忘掉，我就像破碎的器皿；

當神毀滅平原眾城、傾覆羅得住過的各城時，神記念亞伯拉罕，將羅得從覆滅中帶出來。
