耶和華啊，你為何棄絕我？為何掩面不理我？

耶和華啊！你為甚麼丟棄我？為甚麼掩面不顧我？

永恆主啊，你為甚麼屏棄了我？為甚麼掩面不顧我？

耶和華啊，你為什麼拋棄我的靈魂，向我隱藏你的臉呢？

耶和華歟、奚為棄我、何掩面不我顧兮、

爾何為棄予如遺、舍予不顧兮、

主因何遺棄我、因何掩面不顧我、

何以夙夜祈。

Lord, why do you say no to me? Why do you turn your face away from me?

O Lord, why do you cast my soul away? Why do you hide your face from me?

O LORD, why do you reject me, and pay no attention to me?

Yahweh, why do you reject my soul? Why do you hide your face from me?

Why do you hide your face and consider me your enemy?

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?

Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression?

“ Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again?Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time?Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”

About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice,“ Eli, Eli, lemasabachthani?”( which means“ My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

But now you have rejected and humbled us; you no longer go out with our armies.

Do not hide your face from your servant; answer me quickly, for I am in trouble.
