As they make music they will sing,“ All my fountains are in you.”

Singers and dancers alike say,“ All my springs are in you.”

The people will play flutes and sing,“ The source of my life springs from Jerusalem!”

Singers and dancers alike will say,“ My whole source of joy is in you.”

Then those who sing as well as those who play the flutes will say,“ All my springs of joy are in you.”

Both the singers and the players on instruments say,“ All my springs are in you.”

They that sing as well as they that dance shall say, All my fountains are in thee.

Singers and dancers alike will say,“ My whole source of joy is in you.”

As well the singers as the players on instruments[ shall be there]: all my springs[ are] in thee.

As for the singers, as well as the pipers– all of them sing within your walls.

Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation.

For with you is the spring of life. In your light we will see light.

From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” He who hears, let him say,“ Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

David danced before Yahweh with all his might; and David was clothed in a linen ephod.

He said to me,“ I have become the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.

I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty- four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty- four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.

He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

Jesus answered her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,‘ Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

four thousand were doorkeepers, and four thousand praised Yahweh with the instruments which I made for giving praise.”

There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.

Let them praise his name in the dance! Let them sing praises to him with tambourine and harp!

They have seen your processions, God, even the processions of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, among the ladies playing with tambourines,

David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers with instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up their voices with joy.So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brothers, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;and with them their brothers of the second rank, Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed- Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of bronze to sound aloud;and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed- Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight- stringed lyre, to lead.Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the singing. He taught the singers, because he was skillful.Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before God’s ark; and Obed- Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up out of the house of Obed- Edom with joy.When God helped the Levites who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who bore the ark, the singers, and Chenaniah the choir master with the singers; and David had an ephod of linen on him.Thus all Israel brought the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.As the ark of Yahweh’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh with the harp.Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti- Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.All these were under the hands of their father for song in Yahweh’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
