示以愛徵。用昭大德。賜以神助。加以慰藉。敵人見之。庶幾惶惕。

Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.

I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.

Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor. Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.

Hezekiah also had said,“ What is the sign that I will go up to Yahweh’s house?”

Don’t rejoice against me, my enemy. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, Yahweh will be a light to me.I will bear the indignation of Yahweh, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my case, and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light. I will see his righteousness.Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, where is Yahweh your God? Then my enemy will see me and will cover her shame. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails.For my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together,saying,“ God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.”God, don’t be far from me. My God, hurry to help me.Let my accusers be disappointed and consumed. Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me.

We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
