你不使我們再活過來，以致你的子民可以因你歡喜嗎？

難道你、你不使我們活過來，而使你人民因你而歡喜麼？

難道你不願讓我們再次活過來，好讓你的子民因你而歡喜嗎？

不復甦我、俾爾民因爾而歡樂乎、

曷不復振興余、俾余因爾而悅懌兮、

求主轉回、使我儕復活、使主之民因主喜悅、

豈仁主之怒吾族兮。亙百世而不改。

Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

Won’t you give us new life again? Then we’ll be joyful because of what you have done.

Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.

LORD, I have heard the report about you; LORD, I stand in awe of your deeds. Revive your work in these years; make it known in these years. In your wrath remember mercy!

He will revive us after two days, and on the third day he will raise us up so we can live in his presence.

For the High and Exalted One, who lives forever, whose name is holy, says this:“ I live in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the oppressed.

Satisfy us in the morning with your faithful love so that we may shout with joy and be glad all our days.

But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from the LORD our God to preserve a remnant for us and give us a stake in his holy place. Even in our slavery, God has given us a little relief and light to our eyes.Though we are slaves, our God has not abandoned us in our slavery. He has extended grace to us in the presence of the Persian kings, giving us relief, so that we can rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

You caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes, but you will revive me again. You will bring me up again, even from the depths of the earth.

They sang with praise and thanksgiving to the LORD:“ For he is good; his faithful love to Israel endures forever.” Then all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.But many of the older priests, Levites, and family heads, who had seen the first temple, wept loudly when they saw the foundation of this temple, but many others shouted joyfully.The people could not distinguish the sound of the joyful shouting from that of the weeping, because the people were shouting so loudly. And the sound was heard far away.

Let Israel celebrate its Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King.

If I walk into the thick of danger, you will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend your hand; your right hand will save me.

Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come from Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.

a sound of joy and gladness, the voice of the groom and the bride, and the voice of those saying, Give thanks to the LORD of Armies, for the LORD is good; his faithful love endures forever as they bring thanksgiving sacrifices to the temple of the LORD. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as in former times, says the LORD.
