不要叫我的心偏向壞事，以致我跟作孽之人橫行不虔的惡事；也別叫我喫他們的美食！義人儘可以拿忠愛作鎚打我，責備我，惡人的油可別美化我的頭呀！我還存在時候，我的禱告總要針對着他們的壞事。

萬軍之永恆主啊，你的居所何等可愛啊！我的心神渴想着永恆主的院子、到暈過去；我的心腸我的血肉都歡呼，頌讚我生命之上帝。

求你發出你的光和忠信，來引導我，帶我到你的聖山、你的居所。我就進到上帝的祭壇前，到上帝、我的極樂、那裏，彈琴稱讚你，上帝，我的上帝啊。

因為順着肉體行的、意念着肉體的事；順着靈行的、意念着靈的事。肉體的意念是死；靈的意念乃是生命與平安。

假使你們只顧那披着華麗衣服的，就說，『你請坐在這裏』；又對那窮人說：『你站着』，或是『坐在那裏、在我腳凳下邊』；

過了三天、就找着他在殿裏，坐在教師們中間，也聽他們，也詰問他們。
