耶和华啊！求你用手救我脱离世人，脱离那些只在今生有分的世人。求你用你为他们储存的充满他们的肚腹，使他们的儿女都可以饱尝，他们还有剩余的留给他们的子孙。至于我，我必在义中得见你的面；我醒来的时候，得见你的形象就心满意足。

求你不要容我的心偏向恶事，免得我和作孽的人一同行恶，也不要使我吃他们的美食。愿义人击打我，这是出于慈爱；愿他责备我，这是膏我头的膏油，我的头不会拒绝。我仍要为恶人的恶行祷告。

万军之耶和华啊！你的居所多么可爱。我的灵渴想切慕耶和华的院子，我的心身向永活的神欢呼。

求你发出你的亮光和真理，好引导我，带我到你的圣山，到你的居所。我就走到神的祭坛前，到神、我极大的喜乐那里。神啊！我的神啊！我要弹琴称赞你。

随从肉体的人，以肉体的事为念；随从圣灵的人，以圣灵的事为念。以肉体为念就是死，以圣灵为念就是生命、平安；

你们就看重那穿华丽衣服的人，说：“请坐在这好位上。”又对那个穷人说：“你站在那里。”或说：“坐在我的脚凳下边。”

过了三天，才发现他在圣殿里，坐在教师中间，一面听，一面问。
