耶和華啊，求你不要讓我的心偏向邪惡，免得我與惡人同流合污；也不要讓我吃他們的美食。我情願受義人出於愛心的責打，他們的責打是良藥，我不會逃避。我要不斷地用禱告抵擋惡人的行徑。

萬軍之耶和華啊，你的居所多麼美好！我深願進入耶和華的院宇，我的身心向永活的上帝歡呼。

求你以光明和真理引導我，領我到你的聖山，到你的居所。我要到上帝的祭壇前，到賜我喜樂的上帝面前。上帝啊，我的上帝，我要彈琴讚美你。

隨從罪惡本性的人顧念罪惡本性的事，但隨從聖靈的人顧念聖靈的事。顧念罪惡本性的人結局是死亡，但顧念聖靈的人卻有生命和平安。

你們就看重那衣著華麗的，對他說：「請上座。」卻對那窮人說：「你站在那邊。」或「坐在我的腳凳邊。」

三天後，他們才在聖殿裡找到耶穌，祂正和教師們坐在一起，一邊聽一邊問問題。
