See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads.

See how your enemies are growling like dogs. See how they are rising up against you.

For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads.

Don’t you hear the uproar of your enemies? Don’t you see that your arrogant enemies are rising up?

See how your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have acted arrogantly.

For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves.

For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.

See how Your enemies make an uproar; those who hate You have acted arrogantly.

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

For look, your enemies are making a commotion; those who hate you are hostile.

The haters of Jehovah should submit themselves unto him: But their time should endure for ever.

And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made a defence unto the people.But when they perceived that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.And when the townclerk had quieted the multitude, he saith, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there who knoweth not that the city of the Ephesians is temple- keeper of the great Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?Seeing then that these things cannot be gainsaid, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rash.For ye have brought hither these men, who are neither robbers of temples nor blasphemers of our goddess.If therefore Demetrius, and the craftsmen that are with him, have a matter against any man, the courts are open, and there are proconsuls: let them accuse one another.But if ye seek anything about other matters, it shall be settled in the regular assembly.For indeed we are in danger to be accused concerning this day’s riot, there being no cause for it: and as touching it we shall not be able to give account of this concourse.And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to deliver thee.

Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing?The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, saying,

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:and he was driven from the sons of men, and his heart was made like the beasts’, and his dwelling was with the wild asses; he was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; until he knew that the Most High God ruleth in the kingdom of men, and that he setteth up over it whomsoever he will.And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thy heart, though thou knewest all this,but hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou and thy lords, thy wives and thy concubines, have drunk wine from them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know; and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified.

And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the castle.

Whom hast thou defied and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
