“ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions. The standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies. Elishama the son of Ammihud was over his army.Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur was over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh.Abidan the son of Gideoni was over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin.

Yahweh will go out like a mighty man. He will stir up zeal like a man of war. He will raise a war cry. Yes, he will shout aloud. He will triumph over his enemies.“ I have been silent a long time. I have been quiet and restrained myself. Now I will cry out like a travailing woman. I will both gasp and pant.

Wake up! Why do you sleep, Lord? Arise! Don’t reject us forever.Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?For our soul is bowed down to the dust. Our body clings to the earth.Rise up to help us. Redeem us for your loving kindness’ sake.

It shall be said in that day,“ Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”

For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.

But he, being merciful, forgave iniquity, and didn’t destroy them. Yes, many times he turned his anger away, and didn’t stir up all his wrath.
