“ On the west side shall be the flag of the camp of Ephraim by their armies; and the leader of the sons of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud,and his army, their numbered men: 40,500.Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh; and the leader of the sons of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur,and his army, their numbered men, 32,200.Then follows the tribe of Benjamin; and the leader of the sons of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni,and his army, their numbered men, 35,400.The total of the numbered men of the camp of Ephraim: 108,100, by their armies. And they shall set out third.

Next the flag of the camp of the sons of Ephraim, by their armies, set out, with Elishama the son of Ammihud over its army,and Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur over the tribal army of the sons of Manasseh;and Abidan the son of Gideoni over the tribal army of the sons of Benjamin.

The Lord will go out like a warrior, He will stir His zeal like a man of war. He will shout, indeed, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.“ I have kept silent for a long time, I have kept still and restrained Myself. Now like a woman in labor I will groan, I will both gasp and pant.

Wake Yourself up, why do You sleep, Lord? Awake, do not reject us forever.Why do You hide Your face And forget our affliction and oppression?For our souls have sunk down into the dust; Our bodies cling to the earth.Rise up, be our help, And redeem us because of Your mercy.

And it will be said on that day,“ Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us—

But He, being compassionate, forgave their wrongdoing and did not destroy them; And often He restrained His anger And did not stir up all His wrath.
