現今此樹、被火焚燒、亦被砍伐、主之民因主發怒譴責、乃至滅亡、

自天注爾目。視此葡萄樹。既為爾手植。應蒙爾愛護。夙為爾碩果。而今一何苦。

Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.

Your vine has been cut down and burned in the fire. You have been angry with us, and we are dying.

At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep.You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry?

How long, Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off; The women come and set them on fire. For it is a people of no understanding; Therefore He who made them will not have mercy on them, And He who formed them will show them no favor.

These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
