現今此樹、被火焚燒、亦被砍伐、主之民因主發怒譴責、乃至滅亡、

自天注爾目。視此葡萄樹。既為爾手植。應蒙爾愛護。夙為爾碩果。而今一何苦。

Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.

Your vine has been cut down and burned in the fire. You have been angry with us, and we are dying.

At Your rebuke, God of Jacob, Both rider and horse were cast into a dead sleep.You, You indeed are to be feared, And who may stand in Your presence, once You are angry?

How long, Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

For we have been consumed by Your anger, And we have been terrified by Your wrath.

When its limbs are dry, they are broken off; Women come and make a fire with them, For they are not a people of discernment, Therefore their Maker will not have compassion on them. And their Creator will not be gracious to them.

These people will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
