我的敵人辱罵我，好像打碎我的骨頭，不住地對我說：你的神在哪裏呢？

我晝夜以眼淚當飲食；人不住地對我說：你的神在哪裏呢？

天哪，眾聖徒、眾使徒、眾先知啊，你們都要因她歡喜，因為神已經在她身上伸了你們的冤。

我要使我的大名顯為聖；這名在列國中已被褻瀆，就是你們在他們中間所褻瀆的。我在他們眼前，在你們身上顯為聖的時候，他們就知道我是耶和華。這是主耶和華說的。

願他們永遠羞愧驚惶！願他們慚愧滅亡！使他們知道：惟獨你－名為耶和華的－是全地以上的至高者！

那時我的仇敵，就是曾對我說「耶和華－你神在哪裏」的，他一看見這事就被羞愧遮蓋。我必親眼見他遭報；他必被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。

「我必顯我的榮耀在列國中；萬民就必看見我所行的審判與我在他們身上所加的手。這樣，從那日以後，以色列家必知道我是耶和華－他們的神。

親愛的弟兄，不要自己伸冤，寧可讓步，聽憑主怒；因為經上記着：「主說：『伸冤在我，我必報應。』」
