我要以你们作我的人民，我也要作你们的神；你们要知道我是耶和华你们的神，是把你们从埃及人的重担底下救出来的。

我要使我的大名显为圣，这名在列邦中已经被亵渎了，是你们在他们中间所亵渎的。我在你们身上向他们显为圣的时候，他们就知道我是耶和华。这是主耶和华的宣告。

让事奉耶和华的祭司在圣殿的廊子和祭坛之间哭泣，让他们说：“耶和华啊！求你怜恤你的子民。不要使你的产业受羞辱，使他们在列国中成为笑谈。为什么容人在万民中讥笑说：‘他们的神在哪里呢？’”

亲爱的啊，不要为自己伸冤，宁可等候主的忿怒，因为经上记着，主说：“伸冤在我，我必报应。”
