So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

大闢竭其心志、盡其慧思、訓導之、治理之兮。

彼存正直心以牧養之、以巧妙之手引導之、

勵精圖治。盡其忠慤。納民軌物。實憑經略。

And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.

David cared for them with a faithful and honest heart. With skilled hands he led them.

With upright heart he shepherded them and guided them with his skillful hand.

He cared for them with a true heart and led them with skillful hands.

He shepherded them with a pure heart and guided them with his skillful hands.

So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them with his skillful hands.

And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and mine ordinances;

And Jehovah said unto me, Take unto thee yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those that are cut off, neither will seek those that are scattered, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat sheep, and will tear their hoofs in pieces.Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

I will sing of lovingkindness and justice: Unto thee, O Jehovah, will I sing praises.I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; To cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.

And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king; to whom also he bare witness and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who shall do all my will.

But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.

When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly.

And Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great lovingkindness, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great lovingkindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.And now, O Jehovah my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child; I know not how to go out or come in.And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.Give thy servant therefore an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this thy great people?

For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do justice.

because David did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, and turned not aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed justice and righteousness unto all his people.
