Then they will place their confidence in God. They will not forget the works of God, and they will obey his commands.

俾我後人、希望上帝、思其經綸、守其誡命兮。

使之仰望天主、不忘天主之作為、謹守天主之命令、

惟主是仰。惟主是信。克念聖蹟。允遵大命。

Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

If only it would really be their desire to fear me and obey all my commandments in the future, so that it may go well with them and their descendants forever.

Again, however, pay very careful attention, lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren.

Praise the LORD, O my soul! Do not forget all his kind deeds!

I yearn for the Lord, more than watchmen do for the morning, yes, more than watchmen do for the morning.O Israel, hope in the LORD, for the LORD exhibits loyal love, and is more than willing to deliver.

Be sure you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping his commandments, ordinances, and statutes that I am giving you today.

The LORD says,“ Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he is loyal to me.

and after he had given thanks he broke it and said,“ This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Therefore, because of the account found in this letter and what they had faced in this regard and what had happened to them, the Jews established as binding on themselves, their descendants, and all who joined their company that they should observe these two days without fail, just as written and at the appropriate time on an annual basis.These days were to be remembered and to be celebrated in every generation and in every family, every province, and every city. The Jews were not to fail to observe these days of Purim; the remembrance of them was not to cease among their descendants.

How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Remember the whole way by which he has brought you these forty years through the desert so that he might, by humbling you, test you to see if you have it within you to keep his commandments or not.

be careful not to forget the LORD who brought you out of Egypt, that place of slavery.

you must not fear them. You must carefully recall what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt,the great judgments you saw, the signs and wonders, the strength and power by which he brought you out– thus the LORD your God will do to all the people you fear.

Recall the miraculous deeds he performed, his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed,

My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me.They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.

Patiently wait for God alone, my soul! For he is the one who gives me confidence.

You must observe this event as an ordinance for you and for your children forever.When you enter the land that the LORD will give to you, just as he said, you must observe this ceremony.When your children ask you,‘ What does this ceremony mean to you?’–then you will say,‘ It is the sacrifice of the LORD’s Passover, when he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt, when he struck Egypt and delivered our households.’” The people bowed down low to the ground,

Then I said,“ I am sickened by the thought that the sovereign One might become inactive.I will remember the works of the LORD. Yes, I will remember the amazing things you did long ago!I will think about all you have done; I will reflect upon your deeds!”

How blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD and does not seek help from the proud or from liars!
