That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

好叫他们仰望神，不忘记神的作为，惟要守他的命令。

这样他们就把神当作他们的依靠，不会忘记神所行的，而会谨守他的诫命；

好叫他們安心信賴上帝，不忘了上帝的作為，只恪守着他的命令；

這樣他們就把神當作他們的依靠，不會忘記神所行的，而會謹守他的誡命；

使其仰望上帝、無忘其作為、恪守其誡命兮、

俾我後人、希望上帝、思其經綸、守其誡命兮。

使之仰望天主、不忘天主之作為、謹守天主之命令、

惟主是仰。惟主是信。克念聖蹟。允遵大命。

Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

Then they would put their trust in God. They would not forget what he had done. They would obey his commands.

so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;

So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.

Here is the patience of the saints: here[ are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

Blessed[ is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and[ that] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation[ is] from him.

And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?That ye shall say, It[ is] the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

And I said, This[ is] my infirmity:[ but I will remember] the years of the right hand of the most High.I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Blessed[ is] that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
