好讓將要出生的後代子孫可以明白，並且起來向他們的子孫講述；

俾後生子孫知之、亦傳諸其裔兮、

傳於後世、令彼將來、咸得而知、傳流靡已兮。

使後世知曉、子又傳子、孫又傳孫、

並告後世。恐懼修省。

so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.

Then those born later would know his laws. Even their children yet to come would know them. And they in turn would tell their children.

so the next generation might know them— even the children not yet born— and they in turn will teach their own children.

This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:

They will come and will declare His righteousness To a people who will be born, that He has performed it.

Let Your work appear to Your servants And Your majesty to their children.

Consider her ramparts; Go through her palaces, So that you may tell of her to the next generation.

And even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.

But truly we have done this out of concern, for a reason, saying,‘ In time to come your sons may say to our sons,“ What have you to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?For the Lord has made the Jordan a border between us and you, you sons of Reuben and sons of Gad; you have no portion in the Lord.” So your sons may make our sons stop fearing the Lord.’

Tell your sons about it, And have your sons tell their sons, And their sons the next generation.

Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me,‘ Assemble the people to Me, that I may have them hear My words so that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.’

One generation will praise Your works to another, And will declare Your mighty acts.

So these days were to be remembered and celebrated throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city; and these days of Purim were not to be neglected by the Jews, or their memory fade from their descendants.
