When God heard them, He was filled with wrath And He utterly rejected Israel;

神听见就发怒，极其憎恶以色列人。

上帝听见就发怒，全然弃绝了以色列，

神聽了就動怒，極其厭棄以色列。

上帝聞之而怒、深惡以色列、

上帝聞之、其怒殊甚、於以色列族深惡之兮、

天主聞之勃然震怒、乃極厭惡以色列人、

天怒霹靂。痛絕群兇。

When God heard them, he was furious; he rejected Israel completely.

The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes see, His eyelids test the sons of mankind.

The Lord has rejected His altar, He has repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed over The walls of her palaces to the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord As on the day of an appointed feast.

Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so loathe them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.

The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of mankind To see if there are any who understand, Who seek God.They have all turned aside, together they are corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.Do all the workers of injustice not know, Who devour my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord?There they are in great dread, For God is with a righteous generation.

Then I did away with the three shepherds in one month, for my soul was impatient with them, and their soul also was tired of me.

“ The Lord saw this, and spurned them Because of the provocation by His sons and daughters.

Furthermore, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I am going to drive out before you, because they did all these things; therefore I have felt disgust for them.
